Ma sexy room.

4 teeth. 6 Pieces. Doesn't seem right.

Finally, the swelling has given me that boyish face that I've always wanted. Also, my chin is yellow due to "dicoloration after oxillofacial surgery."

Unacceptable!

oreo2476 (6:59:19 PM): i cannot wait to hook up with 7 other males!
bananaoracle89 (6:59:44 PM): yes
bananaoracle89 (6:59:46 PM): all night long!
bananaoracle89 (6:59:57 PM): there will be much 'fragging'

So I played that one game. The one that has the gears that fight stuff. I can't say its name because I go crazy whenever i see it. It is like the best game ever. Seriously. I'm contemplating Zelda like never before, because Gears of War is so damn cool. Oh, I've said it. Let me get a washcloth. Anyhow, now that the whole Christmas lead-up thing is done, I'm kinda bored and no one is playing Starcraft because they have sweet new games. Well, guess who didn't get any sweet new games? Yep, that's right, it's yours truly. So much playings must occur in order that we may be the secks...you know, that thought wasn't completely thought out, so we can just ignore it. Anyway, ppl need to hang out since I have nothing cool to do.

Pre X-Mas post

Well, I've been doing all right with my teeth out. Actually, it hurts a lot, and it's really hard to sleep since they throb if my head isn't elevated. Other than that, I'm doing fine! I'm having a harder time than most, apparently. The first indication should have been when I noticed that my 4 teeth came out in 6 pieces...

Doing nothing

Yes nothing more was done today other than be bored and hurt my mouth and play gameboy and listen to music and such things.

In other news, you have all heard of the bet that Orion and I lost to Rosa, Lucy, and RObin. We bet that the two of us could outbowl the three of them. We would have, too, if Orion didn't start throwing gutterballs!

Nitrous Oxide

So, break has begun! Much pwnage indeed. Yesterday I spent the entire day at Orion's house and we worked on NGW II. Now, you haven't wet yourself yet, but you will. You will, trust me. Like an incontinent dog in a rat trap. I had a piano lesson, but I came back to finish it. I was planning to get some Christmas shopping done, but oh well. NGW II is a big fraggin' deal.
TOday I got my wisdom teeth pulled out. I couldn't eat anything for 6 hours before my 11 o'clock appointment, so needless to say I was very hungry by the time it rolled around. First the lady gave me some pure O2, and then I got some laughing gas (nitrous oxide). "Is it working yet?" "HAHAHAHAHhahah!" Everything was very, very funny. I felt my chest rise up and then the woman started talking to herself. But it actually turned out to be another woman who entered and asked me what kind of music I liked. Somebody said "jazz." And their voices were coming from underneath the operating chair. Then the Doctor came in and gave me an IV, which would put me out "very soon." Then the nurse was standing above me and said we were done. I was on some heavy shit, but after that, my teeth hurt like all get out, and bled a lot too. I was home at like 2, and was in bed until 5, when my mom came home and gave me some very nice painkillers. I got to have ice cream for dinner! Losing body parts rocks.

Nobody loves you like He loves you

First full week we've had in a long time. Wait, did I say full? My bad. There was no school on Friday due to power outages that left nearly half a million people in [Western] Washington without power. It was pretty crazy, apparently, and a lot of people have sustained some hefty storm damage. We were without power all day Friday. I read a bit, played some Gameboy. I probably took a nap. I remember playing the piano until I couldn't see the keys anymore. We went to Northgate mall for the evening. I thought it would be fun (I always do, but 30 minutes of mall shopping was all it took to bring out my most sarcastic self. We were there until 9. I went home and went straight to bed. But it turned out that the girls were bowling at 9:30, so I got up and went with them. And Orion. Orion and I, after deciding not to get arrested for vandalism, drove into Edmonds...or someplace...it was really creepy and dark and stuff.

I was bored Saturday; just stayed at home and stuff. Played some DOOM, some piano.
Today is boring too.

PWNAGE OVERLAOD

SO MUCH PWNAGE.

SOOOO MUCH PWWWWWNAGE!!!!

So like we were gonna crash the Gamer's club pictures. I brought my Cube, and my GBC, Wavebird, and a Pokemon manual. David had his XBox controller. We went to the pictures to crash it, and NO ONE FROM THE ACTUAL GAMER'S CLUB, WHICH IS JUST BOARD GAMES LIKE MONOPOLY AND CONNECT FOUR, WAS THERE!!!!
SO I BUSTED OUT MA CUBE, AND DAVID BUSTED OUT HIS CONTROLLER, AND STEVEN BUSTED OUT MA WAVEBIRD, AND ORION BUSTED OUT MA GAMEBOY, AND STEFANO BUSTED OUT MA MANUAL. NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT ALL THE PROPS WERE MINE.

So now we are slated to have our picture in the yearbook. It's Orion, David, Eric Chan, Stefano, Jake, Joseph Rhie, Steven, and me. man. So, so cool.

And now I present to you these multiple funny quotes:

[21:06] bananaoracle89: okay so we make these notecards in French right
[21:06] robinbird000: what what
[21:06] robinbird000: yeah
[21:06] bananaoracle89: with the five terms
[21:06] bananaoracle89: and one from the vocab is this one that is an archaic word for a female teacher and is no longer used for that reason
[21:07] bananaoracle89: Mme. hagen picks up the notecards, and walks up to the front of the room while reading them
[21:07] robinbird000: okay
[21:07] bananaoracle89: "oh, oui, who was written "fascist term?"
[21:07] robinbird000: oh lord dvis

[21:10] bananaoracle89: how did you like Nick's joke yesterday?
[21:10] robinbird000: i dont remember it lol
[21:10] bananaoracle89: how come Helen Keller can't drive?
[21:11] robinbird000: oh yeah a real piece of witty humor there
[21:11] robinbird000: all in good fun though
[21:13] bananaoracle89: hehehe
[21:13] bananaoracle89: wanna know a secret
[21:13] robinbird000: what
[21:13] robinbird000: you think its true
[21:13] bananaoracle89: oh no no, just in your case

[21:15] bananaoracle89: yeah, my pectorals are actually pretty big if you look at them in the right light
[21:17] robinbird000: what
[21:18] bananaoracle89: you read what I typed.

[21:36] bananaoracle89: SIGN OFF NOW
[21:36] robinbird000: hmmm
[21:36] robinbird000: i dont really want to follow those fascist orders

...Damn you, Robin, damn you...

Mmmm-hmm. So this week was pretty cool. What with late school on Monday, no school on Tuesday and Wednesday, and late start Thursday. I went to Orion's on Tuesday and hung with him and Steven for the day. On Wednesday I stayed home sick, like a hermit because I would have done that even if I was not sick. Thursday and today were just...school. I am still kind of playing Final Fantasy II, but it is kind of boring and repetitive when I realized that I was just killing the same monsters over and over again so that I could grow strong enough to face different, stronger monsters and kill them all over again so that I could grow stronger and kill even more monsters repetitively. Yeah so I think hanging out with people is way more fun than that, so people should get together, even if it is not directly Baghdad-related. Hmm...I might be at the drill/flag competition at school tomorrow, so people should come to that and maybe we can hang out there. And then I'm off to a neighborhood wreathmaking party at 6. I think a wreath is one of those things with the leaves that are like in a circle with all the bells and ribbons and junk stuck in them. Yeah, I just go for the food, which is more delicious every year. But I'm not doing anything on Sunday, so fun happenings should happen that day.

CIDs are good for something...

Transcendentalism: General Significance:

There is an essential truth in nature. Order, chaos...what are these things. The autumn leaves swirl to the ground in a flurry of motion and color, with no predictable end. Yet every year the cycle begins anew. How can white exist without black? It cannot. I could not concieve the notion of a high-up man, a white, shining man, smiling and laughing and protecting the people. But the earth-mother will always be there, with her cool moss and her warm earth. I have never found occasion to pray--simply walking in the forest is enough.

I did not know that something like that would spew forth from my fingers this night.

...does this mean that I am a hippie?

THANKS GIVEN

Yeah so Thanksgiving this year was not bad. Or maybe I just mean the break. On Wednesday I went to see Borat with David, Steven, Orion, Sai, Alex Breaden, Ben, Oliver, and Oliver's little brother. It was pretty funny, but not as good as I would have thought, based on popular reaction. Afterwards, Sai, Orion, Steven, David, and me went to Orion's house for some HALO pwnage. It was awesome. After Sai and Steven left, I started raping. We also played some Soul Caliber. God I love that game. Had a piano lesson.
Thursday rocked:
[22:36] fr0nash: what have you done
[22:36] fr0nash: besides gameboy-ing to the max
[22:36] bananaoracle89: ummmm
[22:37] bananaoracle89: that is it, really

I played so much FInal Fantasy yesterday. It is not even funny. Even I am amazed at my own exploits. Seriously, we're pushing six hours here. I also wrote a song on the piano. I was just soloing, and it came to me. It's awesome. It's called Autumn Winds right now, but it's still a work in progress. For Thanksgiving, we had my aunt, other uncle, and grandpa over (=boring; sorry, guys!) And today I went and swept out my grandpa's garage and helped him with other things around the house. I got some new shoes, which I didn't actually spend money for. And we went to Home Depot to get some siding. Lunch was delicious.

"So, Charlie, how do we justify buying hamburgers the day after Thanksgiving?"
"...We don't, Davis."

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Behehe

[20:20] oreo2476: i don't want to go to hell for some crappy shit like lying
[20:20] bananaoracle89: fuck yeah man
[20:20] oreo2476: if i'm gonna go, it better be worth it
[20:20] bananaoracle89: damn right
[20:20] bananaoracle89: murdered 300 children in their sleep
[20:20] bananaoracle89: or something to that effect
[20:20] oreo2476: or 666

Waves

Yeah so this weekend was both fun and boring as a whole. Friday night, I went to Spiro's for dinner with Orion, Katie, Maddy, and Linnea. Then Orion and I went to his house and played some VGs until 1-ish. I was supposed to be home at 12; oh well, sorry mommy and daddy. Yeah so the ending of Halo 2...wow I had no idea that it was that bad.
Yep so I did a bunch of lawn mowing and some CIDs on Saturday. Went to see Urinetown's closing night. It was so good, but depressing if you think about it too much. Props to Robin's sweet acting and Lucy's pwnage keyboard. Also to Zach's killer drums (he has only been playing for a year) and Kevin's multiple-horn madness. So that was sweet but today was way boring because I got my CIDs done before 12 and then practiced clarinet, so I was in pretty good hw shape but no one was around. Luckily Jacob caled me back and I went over and played some Nightfire for a few hours. So good just to be hangin out again in his basement. On a related note, much hangings-out must be the happen in a manner of soon.

Final Foolishness

Would you believe that they have NO large pictures of Final Fantasy that are black? Well, some...but they're hentai.

bananaoracle89 (2:56:45 PM): Orion
bananaoracle89 (2:56:46 PM): ?
brittlebrit187 (2:56:48 PM): yeah
brittlebrit187 (2:56:58 PM): if he was 1000 times closer
brittlebrit187 (2:57:05 PM): and i was 1000 times gayer
brittlebrit187 (2:57:12 PM): wed have something ill bet

So this weekend was pretty good. I did nothing for the first few days. Last night I went to Orion's house and we played some vgs. Soul Caliber II, Halo 2, Unreal Tournament 2 (we really like the sequels). I loan-traded him the Minish Cap and Aria of Sorrow for Dawn of Souls. I have logged 5 hours already today (my goal is 10). Guess I'd better keep crackin'!

And let us not forget to honor the veterans who fell serving this country, and those still standing. They also gave us days off.

In light of recent events, a certain action has become clear. The pursuit of Starcraft has consumed us all, and touched some more than others. It has become apparent that Starcraft has taken too much from our lives. Due to schoolwork, I can no longer invest in prolonged playing; the same holds true for Keir. Both Ben and Steven have decided that they focused too much on Starcraft and not enough on schoolwork and studying. We were all so caught up in it that we neglected other areas which needed attention. Thus, I have reached a decision.

This Clan was originally founded upon four corners: David, Keir, Steven, and me. Let us not forget Jack, Stephen, Peter, Sai, or Ben, and their contributions to the Sacred Order. But its time has passed; we all wish to explore realms beyond Char, Mar Sara, and Aiur. However, we will never forget the spirit and bond that we shared as members of the great and noble clan.

Therefore, as founder, caretaker, and Master of the Commander, I hereby dissolve the Sacred Order of Teriyaki until further notice.
Doug...how could you?

Le Weekend

Yeah so there was a weekend. We had a sectional for jazz band, but only half the section showed up and the bass didn't have an amp so the drummer had to call his dad to bring one and...we only got to actually practice for like 40 minutes. Hoo-ray! I also went to physical therapy and he said that I can't run anymore, since it still hurts me (I was just doing it anyway...) There was also an Einstein Jazz concert at Sky Nursery. It was pretty good, for middle-schoolers, at least. So I didn't get any homework done that day, but I did stay up until 12 playing Starcraft. Sunday, woke up at 8 and began CIDS; finished at 3:30. Played Starcraft with Ben from 6:30 - 8:30, but then I played the piano until 10:30, so I was still tired. Now there is just another week of school, but it is thankfully a short one. Yay! Let us all rejoice and do something fun on this long weekend.

Yeah so this is it. Not sure if you guys have seen this (well I know Ben has). Just dropped my Ghost right next to his Reavers, cloaked, walked around them and sighted. You can see that my trusty Science Vessel EMPed right before, so that the nuke would destroy a portion of his core buildings as well as all his main Probes. GG Ben...especially the part where you pwned me with 24+ Carriers... Posted by Picasa

sunschoice (5:26:38 PM): how was hc?
bananaoracle89 (5:28:03 PM): it was...
bananaoracle89 (5:28:05 PM): the pwnage
bananaoracle89 (5:28:08 PM): like, my Ghost cloaked
bananaoracle89 (5:28:13 PM): and crept around to Ben's Probes
bananaoracle89 (5:28:16 PM): and signaled a nuke
sunschoice (5:28:16 PM): ...makes sense.

sunschoice (5:31:58 PM): i like eating cows and chickens and pigs
bananaoracle89 (5:32:22 PM): and babies too, I'll warrant

Behappy6288 (5:02:42 PM): so is their any gay who suits your fancy nowadays?
bananaoracle89 (5:02:57 PM): I'm...straight?
Behappy6288 (5:03:51 PM): gal
Behappy6288 (5:03:53 PM): oops
Behappy6288 (5:03:55 PM): sorry

RunningInSquare3 (5:23:32 PM): it reaffirmed that i hate punk rock
bananaoracle89 (5:23:47 PM): oh come now
RunningInSquare3 (5:24:10 PM): punk rock is about as cool as a size 0A boobs
RunningInSquare3 (5:24:40 PM): if that can be classified as a size of boob

Yeah so I played a lot of music today, and a little bit of Starcraft. At least I didn't get pwned by my girlfriend like Zach did. I'll practice and then I can pwn her, thus pwning Zach at the same time! Muhaha.

[18:29] oreo2476: they played gud music then?
[18:29] bananaoracle89: aww fuck no
[18:29] bananaoracle89: but it was good bustin' music

Orion on detectors:

[18:47] oreo2476: yeah its like they just cloak so much you need like a billion science vessels and turrets and comsats just to keep up
[18:47] oreo2476: and then like u got no resources left for like the pwnage

Orion on gun control:

[18:58] oreo2476: yeah so i got the gun 4u
[18:59] bananaoracle89: yeah you got the piece, dog?
[19:00] oreo2476: yeah man, just whip out our berettas and bust a cap
[19:00] bananaoracle89: dude I'm so pissed at so many ppl at school
[19:00] bananaoracle89: finally

Yeah so we did Homecoming and it was pretty cool, LOL. So we like had to get a whole bunch of pictures over here because my mom called the Turnbloms and got them to come (thanks Mom) so it was not the pwnage. And then we got picture amubhsed at Maddy's AGAIN, except it was grandpa and dad with the video recorder this time. AIIIIIIII! Then we went to go to the restaurant, but we had to stop at Robin's' house first because she forgot my flower thingy (good job Robin). So we got there and got food and it was good but really rich and expensive. Like both of our meals cost like $13 each and we ended up paying like 40 dollars. I'm just too afraid to ask about that one. So it was like way rich and we boxed it up, except it was salmon that ended up sitting in Robin's car for like 5 hours. DID NOT SMELL GOOD. But then we made our way over the the actual dance, and got pix. And then...we danced for like 2 hours until 12. It was actually really fun, even though it smelled like BO and sweaty people would knock into you every 5 seconds. Or maybe that's why it was fun...
Aaanyway, we did that and left at 12. We went to Jared's house and caught the first 30 minutes of Rat Race, but Robin can't drive past 1 am so we had to hoof it out of there fast. And that was that.

I want Starcraft so bad.

Sunday, October 01, 2006

B3nL 90 (8:15:20 PM): sorry, not tonite
bananaoracle89 (8:15:22 PM): AUGH
B3nL 90 (8:15:25 PM): my dad's using the comp w/ sc
bananaoracle89 (8:15:32 PM): ah well
bananaoracle89 (8:15:36 PM): I'll just cut myself instead

This is how I feel right now. No Starcraft. No fun. My legs hurt. My head hurts. I have to get up early tomorrow so Mr. Harshman can yell at me. A lot. I'm tired. I'm hungry. I'm nervous. I'm pissed. I'm sad. I'm 'Craftless.

So we did Sunfair on Friday. We got out of 3rd early and jumped on the bus for our freaking 3 hour ride to Yakima. Soo tired. Soo bored. But we finally got there. I got subs with Yi and Kenny and then we did sednetary things such as walking around the hotel and watching TV a lot. We finally got to bed after playing 13 with the dudes in my room. I won a lot.
We got up at 6:30 and ate and headed over to the park.

Ha ha, I just tried to move my mouse onto the screen of my laptop, which is right next to my computer, playing music.

I ran my rave at 10:00, a merciful time when one considers that a) races go through the day until 5, and b) it ain't called Sunfair for nothing. I got out of there with Charlie. Homework. Starcraft. Nightfire with Jacob. Slept.
Got up. Berkin. Work. More Berkin. Ate. Mowed lawns. And then we went shopping for a damn jazz band suit. For THREE FRIKKIN HOURS! Of course we got the suit after like 40 minutes--I mean they're ALL black, what do you expect?--but then we had to wait outside the fabric store for like an hour while my mom got her stupid fabric, and other time was spent waiting for Meredith to finally decide not to buy the myriad pairs of jeans she had to try on.
And then I got home and had to work and sell band books and practice piano. I only got to play two games of starcraft last night, and I'm going to explode. I'm going to die. "Death of a Terran Magus..."

The Fallen One

It has been long, my friends. Let's just say that I made it into jazz band, which is now my life. I am doing crosscountry, which is also my life. The other three AP's I have are the third and final part of my life. It no longer includes Starcraft.

But it all changes on the weekends. On the weekends I'm a raging Terran bull, pwning and goring and n00bing people and...stuff. So yeah let's play, especially on Sunday.

What more can I say...talk to me about jazz band because I really like it. And once crosscountry ends we'll have more time to play. If you want, you can even go to Harshman's server and take his free jazz music.

yeah but so today we had a crosscountry meet at this horse park on Bainbridge. It was fun and it had this killer hill.

Fuck.

So most of us got our laptops today. The other half will get them tomorrow. I'm very pleased with the way things have turned out, but I'd just like to go over things so I get them all right.

-Okay, before we get started, I just want to say that that video of that guy talking was the most painful thing I have experienced in a long time. A loooong time. His voice was monotonous, his face shiny and round, and he never looked away from the camera. And he basically rephrased the same things over and over again. Worst offense: adding "et cetera" to the end of incomplete lists. "Students will be able to use various graphics, charts, pictures, et cetera. And what else? Could I also use a sound clip? A movie? WHAT ELSE?! And he never paused for commas. Jerk.

-What is up with needing a parent and student to come on a Tuesday? A Tuesday? Guess what admins, in some cultures that's considered to be the FREAKING SECOND DAY OF THE WORK WEEK! I had to skip lunch today because my mom had to get my computer instead of earning money for food. Way to go Shorelineschools.

-Requiring each person to shell out 70 bucks. What. The. Hell. Some people can't even afford it. What do they do? They can get free lunch but not free computers that "aren't required?!" And then, to top it all off, Mr. Green asks if anyone wants to donate to help support another family. Fuck no, Mr. Green, you should have budgeted for this beforehand. (Even though Mr. Green is kind of not the villain here, just the one who got screwed).

-Having that stupid carrying case. I think he mentioned that part of the $70 cost was for the carrying case, which is "yours to keep." Well I've got news for you. I don't want a stupid carrying case for a laptop that isn't mine, especially if I have to PAY FOR IT!

And of course the cords don't fit in there, either.

-So I go up there to get my laptop, which was mercifully quick. Unmercifully, Chase gave it to me (ha! ha!). And then, before I can take it, that drill bitch takes my stickers and puts them on the laptop. I can put my own stickers on my own goddamn laptop, thank you very much. Please make the process more excruciatingly painful to watch. Please!

-The laptops have built in cameras. Not very conducive to learning, so "we got the manufacturer to disable them." Well, if you were able to talk to the manufacturer, why not tell them to NOT MANUFACTURE THE CAMERAS?! Not that it might save time, money, and effort, or anything.

-I finally get it and open it up. And what do I see? A battery charge at approximately 50%. 50%?!@ You sit me in a room with a mind-numbingly boring movie about shit that I already know, make me wait in line, make me PAY MONEY, and then you can't even give me a full battery charge?! WHAT THE FUCK?

-As I'm prowling around 'my' computer, testing out all its features, I'm trying to change the user settings. Christ, I'm not even sure if you can change the desktop on these things, they're so locked up. First thing I did was try to put a password on the Student Account. Nope, sorry, need an admin password! So what happens when the dick next to me decides to delete all my files when I get up to walk across the room? What happens when somebody decides to email themselves your essay off of your computer, and turns it in as theirs?

-Maintenance and troubleshooting. Techs:students. 2:1800. It's gonna be hell. I've heard that if you have a problem that "takes more than five minutes to fix," the solution is a clean wipe. Your hard drive, minus everything. Nevermind that students are encouraged to do all of their schoolwork (did I say encouraged? I meant required) on this thing. If there's a little problem, break out the digital Windex! Maybe they should give us a way to back up our information, hmm? But no, everyone loves spending an extra $30 on flash drives. Yay unnecessary spending!

-The keyboards are shit. You want me to type essays on flat little keys, and surf the net with that stupid square that substitutes for a mouse? Hmm, well, guess we'll all have to buckle down and get ourselves some keyboards and mice if we want to enjoy any success at all with these things. More out-of-pocket expenses?! 'Our intelligence at the time didn't indicate any need.'

-So we can't put them in our backpacks. No laptops in backpacks. That would destroy the laptops. Hurt them. Well what happens when you're carrying your laptop in the halls and some dude rushes past, spinning your little Macbook into a stone pillar? Luckily, that case is like kevlar (probably got a grant from Homeland Security). Problem is, we've got this little thing called force. D'oh! 'I knew that would come back to bite me in the butt someday!'

-Save paper, you say? WELL HOW MANY FUCKING TREES DID YOU CUT DOWN FOR ALL THOSE SIGN-UP FORMS AND CONTRACTS, HMM? HMM? Double standards make the world go 'round!

I think that about concludes my post for today. Be sure to tell me if I forgot something to bitch about, and I'll stick it in next time.

Fuck.

Doh....

Yeah so first of all, be sure to read my Wisconsin post. Then head over to http://j35t1ngdrumm3r.blogspot.com/ for the r0xxorx pics.

Not much really happened after Wisconsin; I basically stayed home and read and played Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, which is a cool game. A Mario RPG. Anyway, I started jazz camp on the 7th. Man. I had no idea what was going on. Thank God I did it, because otherwise I would get raped come jazz band tryouts. So I'm kind of sick of playing the piano, since I've been doing it for like 4-7 hours per day, and my shoulders are really sore. I'm sick of jazz, kind of, but we get in there and play and it's great. I don't completely know what I'm doing, but it's fun, so hey. I went over to David's yesterday and we blasted through four levels of HALO 2. I think we're gonna do it. We're gonna beat HALO 2 on co-op Legendary!!

YAY!
So be sure to check out those pics. And everybody should come to my house sometime.

Wisconsin, Stages 3-6

No post for you! (Stage 3)

"Yeah, that's like how shampoo smells good but tastes bad."

So we left on Friday for Rawley Point. It 's this Coast Guard lighthouse on Lake Michigan. It had a nice white sandy beach and a nice little cabin by the lighthouse. We went swimming for an hour in the very green lake (green with shit, not water reflection). Right as we were getting out, Mrs. Scudder ran up and told us that the lake was INFESTED WITH E.COLI. No, wait. It was infested with e.coli. Didn't we see all the red signs, of which there were none>!>!? In any case, it later turned out okay. I mean, I think. That shit has a 72-hour incubation period, after all. So we did that and then gamed a lot inside. Much Seinfeld watching as well. We roasted marshmallows. Mr.Scudder was having quite the time lighting the fire, so Jack and I showed him how to do it (wood+match+lighter fluid).

Wisconsin, Stage 4

"Look! Pepperoni!"

Luke is a noob. That is all that I can say at this point, LOL. More gaming. We went in the water for a little bit, but it was really shitty. I mean you couldn't even see a foot to the bottom for all the green crap floating in there. Septic tank drains to the lake, water taps from the lake. It was a calm day. Nice day.

Wisconsin, Stage 5

"Gaming is not a crime."

We left Rawley Point that day. It was as great little stay, but it was over. After we got back, after much Castlevania and New Super Mario Bros in-car, we went to the Neenah Pool. It's a nice pool, which is populated mainly by overweight 9-year-olds. Also, there are many lifeguards. One of them was Spencer, Jack's friend. He is a very nice guy and we talked to him for a while. Luke spent a lot of time underwater with his goggles, probably ogling the moms and 9-year-old girls. We eneded the night with some Seinfeld, and then Jack and I went downstairs. We watched Anchorman and Collateral, both very good movies. "It smells like Bigfoot's dick!" This quote, though funny, was ruined by Luke's incessant, masturbatory repetitions of it.

Wisconsin, Stage 6

"You know, I don't think it's possible for me to stick my foot in my mouth. It's always in there."

We went driving around town today. I saw the Scudders' old house, and a bunch of other neighborhood-related things. We brought lunch to Mr. Scudder's office. He works at Pierce, a firetruck manufacturing company. It's pretty cool. We checked out some Seinfeld, and took a nap. We spent nearly two hours watching hilarious home videos of nine-year-old Jack dancing. HI-FREAKING-LARIOUS! We also covered many other aspects of the Scudders' past in our viewing spree. Tonight, we had two of Jack's friends come over to play the Bible Game and watch Dane Cook. The Bible Game is actually pretty fun! But there must always be 4 players, and the PS2 has only 2 natural controller ports. So the comps are really cheap, but we passed it around between Luke, Ben, Jack, Andrew, Ryan, (Jack's friends) and me. So now I'm sitting here at 11:34pm Wisconsin time. I am so fuck-ing tired. We have stayed up until like 2 every night this week. I am seriously going to crash tomorrow on the plane, if that's at all possible. This is Davis Hill. You stay classy, Shoreline.

Wisconsin, Stage 2

We were woken up by Mrs. Scudder's voice: "Jack, 10:30 is enough sleep! Wake up!"
We got up and went for a bike ridee so Jack could show me around. Today had much less adrenaline-fueled swearing than yesterday. Actually, not. Anyway, I got to see all over this nice town of Neenah. It's not as hot as Shoreline, but humid, so it's about equal. After that, we hung out until we went over to the EAA airshow. It is a huge airshow in Oshkosh, where all these people fly in their planes and show them off. There are also all sorts of stunt plane groups, so it was pretty fun. I tried not to fall asleep. We came back and gamed our heads off. We tried to see this play that Jack's teacher was in, but it was all sold out. We watched Super Troopers instead. Now I am enlightened ("That look like spit to you?" "Yeah." "Fuck it."). Now we're sitting on his nice couch. Jack's reading the Nintendo Power mini New Super Mario Bros guide and I'm sitting here posting. So we're heading out to Lake Michigan tomorrow for some uber fun. Happy day all.

Wisconsin, Part 1

So I'm here in Neenah, Wisconsin, at the Scudder residence. It is 11:57 pm. I have not slept for the last 39 hours. I shall detail my adventures:

Woke up at 8 on Tuesday and did normal activities. Okay, blah blah blah. I spent my day packing and gaming. I tried to take a nap at 9, but to no avail. I wish I had slept, because we left for the airport at 10:50, to catch my 12:55am flight (good job estimating how much time we needed, Mom). So I did that, and the flight was the very bad. I tried to sleep but phailed. Thankfully, I was energized for some reason or another. I arrived at Minneapolis/St.Paul airport at 6 (WI time). I flew out to Milwaukee at 7:20 and got in around 8. Suddenly, by the baggage claim, I saw him. Jack! We climbed into the car and headed out. We grabbed some McDonalrds' breakfast and began the journey to Great America, a huge Six Flags theme park in Illinois. It was raining and we thought to beat the crowds. Unfortunately, it cleared up and we had only a few hours until the hordes arrived. We (meaning Jack, Luke, Ben, and I) first tried the Orbit, a thing that whirls little carriages around at ever-stranger angles. We then hit up the Viper rollercoaster, then the Raging Bull rollercoaster (complete with near-vertical drop), and then the El Diablo Loco Mine Drop. One of those big towers that drops you in a free-fall and then stops you. It was so high. Like 200 feet. Well, probably not that much, but it was really scary all the same. As the chairs began to drop, an acute listener might have heard a faint, "FUCK! OH JESUS CHRIST!" And by faint, I mean me screaming at the top of my lungs. It was so good that we did it again. Then we set out to do the cow ride, the Ricochet, a thing with chairs that fling out and go up and down. It was good but very bad for the head. Then we rode the Demon, a coaster that had two loop-de-loops and a corkscrew section, and went underground. It was sweet. The other guys rode the DejaVu, one of those pieces that has you hanging from underneath the track. It also held you up in the air and then dropped you. I was not feeling very good at this point, after no sleep and eating mainly chocolate-chip granola bars on the plane. It all worked out, however. After lunch, we rode the American Eagle coaster, a very long track with a huge fall to rival Raging Bull's. The orld, screeching track produced a very large headache in my brain. After that, we hit up the water area. They had a wave pool, a river with a current, and a huge tower-play-structure thing, all of which we used to the highest capacity. We also did some cool water-slalom type rides. Finally, it was time to leave. After a long car ride, we ate dinner in Oshkosh (15 minutes from home) at Culver's, a very cool drive-in style restaurant. WE made it back home to Neenah and here I am! Much talking has occurred, and I presented teh_scudderer with his yearbook. Indeed, it was a glorious moment. Cheers to all! Now I bid you farewell, for I must sleep and rise early tomorrow to stand in the hot, hot sun of a plane show. Wish me luck.

God Bless Wisconsin.

Inventory Affected!

All right, my computer no longer accepts the wireless router, and, as such, I have no internet connection. There is much to report in my daily life and in the progress of the house reconstruction, but it shall have to wait.

Summer is as Summer Does

Well...Summer is here. I guess it's no use beating around the bush. THe last two weeks of school were pretty memorable, I guess, though I don't remember much of them. I'll start on the Saturday of June 17th, because I want to talk about my Uber Eagle Scout project. So Charlie and I got down at Hamlin Park at about 7:40 on Saturday morning. We set everything up until Alex and Orion arrived, at about 8:30. Reid came about 8:55. About 9:10, I started getting a bunch of older guys, my buddies included. Thanks Sai , Orion, and Alex especially, since you guys aren't scouts (though I doubt that Alex reads this). I'd also like to thank David Medin, Hannah, and Claire for coming. They were the only crosscountry runners who actually showed up. Anway, I set up Reid with a team to widen that one stretch of trail that you've no doubt seen in the photographs. Alex set out to clean up Suicide Hill--I think he was attracted by the size of the logs, to be quite honest. David took out a group to clena off posts for repainting. Orion later took out a crew to begin the digging and concreting of posts. It was all working fine, but I could feel myself tiring as the day went on. We broke for an early lunch at 11 and then headed back to work. I was constantly running all over the park, radioing my troops and checking in to see where everybody was, bringing supplies, and assigning fresh volunteers. It was a heck of a day; Orion and I went duo for the last hour, scrubbing posts by ourselves, since everybody had left at that point. We finally got out of there at 4:45. I've had to go back and finish up some stuff, and I still have to go back again, but no biggie. We got so much done on the 17th. Thanks so much to all who came! You deserve a pat on the back and...uh...something else that pleases you, I guess. In any case, it was a great project. I can't wait until next year's! (just kidding there) :)

So then it was the week before school got out. My weekend must have not been very spectaculr...oh wait, I remember it now. I was desparately trying to finish my French speech in time for its Tuesday due date. Yes, I know, but I was trying to lose as little sleep as possible...and damn did I PH4!L.
Monday was a nice, short odd day. Happy birthday to me!! Jack called in the morning to wish me a happy birthday, all the way from Wisconsin. Thanks man. It means a lot. Surprise! Christina and Katy made me cupcakes for my birthday, which was funny because all I do is make fun of Katy all the time...but Christina is awesome. Someday there will be a reckoning...Ninjas...Pirates...Transformers...
In any case, Surprise #2! Math final. Not really a surprise, but it could have been worse. Turns out that I got the highest score on the final in my math class, which was the most empowering 96 percent that I have ever gotten. I slithered along with a 93.0 in the class, the lowest A you can get. Whew!
Tuesday: Unremarkable even day, I suppose. Orion, David, and I left band to go play some frisbee with Steven, Sai, Amy, and some other people. English was quite fine. Actually, it was the most boring thing that's happened to me in quite some time. We read poetry, talked about its different forms, and he even tried to get us to write our own, to no avail. And OH MY GOD I DID MY FRENCH PRESENTATION SIXTH PERIOD! I had stayed up until 1 that morning doing it. I was really nervous, but apparently it was good. Even Chase congratulated it. I'm so ready to be the only boy in AP next year *falls on face.*
Wednesday: Another good old odd day. Ms. Bonner made us do something that I can barely remember, but it wasn't very fun. Well... I'm really trying to remember it, so I'll post again when I know what it is. Science was finishing up our elephant project and junk. Math was quite fine. We got to watch the first 20 minutes of the soccer game, and then school ended. I walked home with David, I think.
Thursday: Last pure even day! Band was great fun once again; I think Orion and David and I just wandered the halls with no purpose because the dumb leadership kids wouldn't let us in. Because we definitely hadn't been there like all week. Anyway, we went back to the bandroom and walked in. Mr. Harshman's head snapped toward us, but I had this one covered: "Hi Mr. Harshman." He opened his mouth and just shook his head. Saved! English was pretty good, I guess. We had a poetry slam and we got to hear some quality poetry written by our classmates. We also shared all our food and stuff that we had brought. We were supposed to be writing poetry again, but it didn't work. I can only write when I'm very angry or very sad, which tend to be the same thing. French was a bore. More presentations. I wrote a very nice poem during them, though.
Friday: OMFG LAST DAY!!1! It really was all a blur. Sai brought in his 'Cube, and there was some definite SSBM during first period. Band went quickly. Science, gone. English, finished. Math, smoked. Madame Hagen apparently likes paintball, because her TV was turned on to a paintball tournament. And then it was over. School. I went home and jumped in my car to get paint and then headed over to Steven's house for a sweet, sweet barbecue. We ate first, then played some ultimate frisbee and some radical sardines at Echo Lake Elementary, then headed back and pwned some SSBM and Source. I started an awesome super-soaker battle with Amanuel; we pwned Sai, Bodon, and David hardcore. HARDcore! You CTs dont' know what you're dealing with. We played some cool outside games like badminton and throw-the-football-over-the-house, which is almost as fun as the throw-things-in-the-fan game. We later went back to try some more ultimate, but it really didn't work out. We headed home and watched We Were Soldiers. Such a good movie. Such a sad movie. Such a moving movie. I drove home all depressed because of the Vietnam War. I then realized that I had been at Steven's house for 11.5 hours, from 12:30 to 12. Ya sw00t!

Saturday and Sunday, were, like, just chillin.' I went to the park with Charlie on Saturday to get some stuff done, and then on Sunday with David and Charlie to get some more stuff done. I went to Braden's birthday party that Saturday afternoon/evening, and it was pretty sweet. Alex and I got pwned hardcore at HALO. But my sticking skills remain as potent as ever. :P

So the work week started on Monday, for me. We're tearing down the house and apparently building a new one. No, not really; it just seems that way sometimes. I spent the first half of Monday tearing down our play structure all by myself. ALL BY MYSELF. It was quite a feat, I must admit. 'Course, after lunch, I was too tired to do any more work, so naturally I played video games. Oh, and one of our friends from Oregon is here, Tristan Bangs. He's 26 and totally awesome. We went to the pool last night and hung out, played some Bball, and jumped off the 'board for a bit. Before that, though, at 5, I went out to see what was goin' down at our first crosscountry summer practice. Nothin much. One new guy there, a junior, though I can't remember his name. John or Tom or something. I like him already. The running was not so sweet, however. I limped back home, nursing my god damned ankle. In any case, good time.
So we spent the greater part of today ripping off our east wall. There is seriously not a wall there anymore. I assume you've checked out the photos which are no doubt on here. Totally cool. I played some Dink Smallwood today. Cool game. You guys should check it out. I went to practice again today, and of course nothing good happened. I met a new freshman, Tory. He looks pretty strong.
