there is a place, it has a face
and he was walking out the door
his mother said she was ashamed
cuz he had no place to go
he was afraid and i was fine
he wanted peace of mind
three times done
and you're gone, and you're gone
you are free, you are free
it's a long way home
what have we done?
was it wrong, was it wrong?
was it me? can't you see?
it's a long way home
there is a snake, he will awake
and he will get you off the floor
you'll start to shake, you're friends will sweat
you are high, you will forget
she is afraid cuz you are dying
but you have got your peace of mind
three times done
and you're gone, and you're gone
you are free, you are free
it's a long way home
what have we done?
was it wrong, was it wrong?
was it me? can't you see?
it's a long way home
and i wanna make your dreams come true
it's all you
gotta change your lonely ways
to make it through
you found a place in outer space
and you don't hurt anymore
your lovely hand has slipped away
and there is nothing left to say
and we were born of yellow sand
there is no plan, there is no end
three times done
and you're gone, and you're gone
you are free, you are free
it's a long way home
all along
i was wrong, i was wrong
it was me, can't you see?
it's a long way home
it took a million lights to see her smile
but don't touch, it's too much
she'll break it and she'll send you home
afraid of love, afraid you might get hurt
well good luck, don't get stuck
turn around before you can't break up...

Well, these seem to be vewy scwewed up lywics, so they aren't exactly right...but you get the general idea.

Lessee...

Friday: I stayed home and played some veeedayo gaymes.

Saturday: Went on a hike. It was muchos gracias. Mowed a lawn. Charlie and I watched the remake of Standing Tall, which includes THE ROCK. "Sir, fix your lights. This is your last warning." "What's wrong with them?" "They're broken." *SMASH*

Sunday: Went to Maddy's house to remove/destroy some cabinets. Then I went to David's house and we owned in Halo 2. Huzzah. I watched The Incredibles with my parents, courtesy of Jack.

Monday: I'm sure something happened, but I cain't remember. Oh yeah. Jacob and I cut a lawn and then got watermelon popsicles from the ice cream man. Jack came over to help me with planning the orienteering course, but we all screwed around and didn't have time, so I had to do it by myself. And it doesn't seem to even work. FRICK MAN!

Yeah. THese past few days have been just school. Oh, and I can't sleep in past 7:10 because of my physical inability to sleep in. C'est teh suxorz, if we didn't have

Not the Zed word!

Well, yesterday Zach and I went to the SAM (Seattle Art Museum) to see the China exhibit, which featured mostly naked people doing strange and disgusting things. We rode the bus home after getting apple cups and Subway sandwiches. When we got back, we of course went straight to 711 for cherry Slurpees ( we had been craving them for the past three 711s). So then we hung out and listened to music and played some SSBM. Zach and I each took a turn with a level 7 and then a level 9 Bowser. PWNage! We then watched Shaun of the Dead a British parody of Dawn of the Dead. It is hilarious!!! Ask me about it. Yeah.

Today was fine. In Science we learned more about plate tectonics. In Band we played some $cale$. In English we made a map of the neighborhood in TKM. In Social Studies we went to put stuff in our portfolios. In Math we did some worksheet. In French we got a crossword and "played" Loto.
I went home and hacked the crap out of some bushes until the slacker neighbors went outside to smoke. Then I remembered my new sword. I don't suppose anyone has ever seen a lead pipe hit a bunch of dead trees before. It's like hitting a wet paper bag with a sledghammer (kudos to those who recognize the allusion!) So, yeah. I did some stuff at home, and I didn't go to track, because I'm not doing anything there anyway and I wanted to playh outside. Unfortunately, this set off my knees, so I had to ice and crap. Then there was Boy Scouts.

Ahh! I have to finish typing before Zombie Nation ends. Oops! Too late! I'll just have to start it again...

Well....it's about over, guys ("guys" used in the gender-inclusive sense). I don't know what I shall write about.
Steven came over on Thursday. We had fun. And we played frisbee in Shoreview Park. yeah.

So I didn't do anything on Friday, really. Just hung out and stuff.

So today I talked to Red, saw the Helmeid/Stockdales again, walked to Jacob's house twice to mow the lawn, talked to more lawn clients, and finally crashed.

ChuckChuckWilson (7:42:33 PM): drop it like it's hott

Carry on My Wayward Son

Well, break has been a-pretty pretty good. Yeah. I have been slacking so, so much. So I've already had Jack and Alex over, and Zach comes back soon. If that slacker Finafrock gets out of bed, I'll have him over tomorrow. Unfortunately, Josh won't return my calls...gah.

So.
As for Jack. We hung out, played some games, shot hoops, went to Fred Meyer and loitered, then made dinner (spaghetti! yum!) and played some more SSBM. Ha ha! When we played for like 3 hours straight, I made a big ruckus about wanting to stop, and I actually did [want to stop], because games are not fun enough to be your whole life. Aaaaanyway... so Mrs. Scudder was chewing Jack out, and he was like "but DAVIS played the SAME AMOUNT as me!" And she's like "no, he didn't!" It went this way for quite some time, and left Jack sputtering and speechless, and me with some Scudder brownie points. Ha! Then.....ask me about it, actually. yeah.

So Alex came over today. There was much awesomeness!!! First we talked outside in the warm, warm sun with our feet in the cool, cool grass. So we're just hangin out, and I show him my newly acquired swords (lead pipes). Then I remember that I saw and old lawnmower down in the woods! We go to salvage it. It was mighty tough bringing that thing up the hill, but we did it, somehow. It was broken beyond repair, so it now sits in front of the Upper Workshop waiting for its final trip to the dump. Then we played some piano and some TimeSplitters and some **** Colosseum (which I bought today. another funny story. I walk to Fred Meyer, and the place is DEAD. Elderly people shopping, etc, etc. I'm walkin through, hoping that nobody busts me for delinquency. This one dude in front of me (employee, I mean) looks behind him and does a double take. Then he takes "sneaky" glances to see if I'm still there. Then he walks into some room. I make my purchase and get the heck out of there.) Ther we played some more piano and Meredith gave us strawberry lemonade and later made us quesadillas. MMmmm... So we ate some, and played with Luna. Then we helped Charlie put up the new ceiling. It required muchos strength to hold up those dense sheetrock sheets. Gah.

So I was going to run, stretch, and play piano tonight, but it's much too late. I'll just have to play some games and go to sleep.

Break? Broken.

brittlebrit187 (1:27:22 PM): status report:
brittlebrit187 (1:27:34 PM): went on real roads for pretty much the first time today
brittlebrit187 (1:27:44 PM): maximum speed limit on roads i went on: 45
brittlebrit187 (1:27:54 PM): my maximum speed: 55
brittlebrit187 (1:28:17 PM): hit: one broken glass bottle
brittlebrit187 (1:28:39 PM): and the ditch, multiple times
bananaoracle89 (1:30:20 PM): uh....
bananaoracle89 (1:30:31 PM): I don't think you should be in control of a motorized vehicle
brittlebrit187 (1:30:41 PM): whys that?
brittlebrit187 (1:30:45 PM): oh, i only stalled once

That's Keir for ya. Doesn't even know how to not....drive....bad....

So on Friday I went to Orion's house for a party/sleepover thing. Rosa, Maddy, and Linnea were there, in addition to Steven, Jack, and I. It was cool. I ate like half or 2/3 of a pizza, then we watched The Perfect Score. Then the girls went home, and the real fun began. We played lots of Halo 2, and I got farther in my First-level-on-Legendary-mode stint. Then we watched Total Recall, which was given to Orion by Jack. It was really awesome and gory, with all the good parts they cut out when I saw it on TV. So we went to bed at 4, which turned into a little conversation with my mom:

Mom: "Can you please carry out the groceries?"
Me: "I'm really tired."
Mom: "Well, I went to bed at TWO-THIRTY last night *gets mad*"
Me: "Well, I went to bed at FOUR THIS MORNING! PWNED!"

So I spent yesterday (Saturday) hanging around and being tired. I cut Mrs. Brown's lawn and got $13 dollars into my pocket. Hooray! Now that Jacob's gone I can claim my rightful business and usurp the cash! BWAHAHA! Ahem....
So we went to my aunt's house for my Grandpa's birthday. He's 81! That was pretty cool; I remember how much fun it is to play ping-pong and now I want our table to be set up all the time.
Today I got up at 9, after being periodically woken up so that Charlie could tell me that he needed my help. Well, I already knew that. I was tired! by my calculations, I got somewhere around 11 hours of sleep, since I don't remember being conscious much after 10 last night. Sweet.
So today I'm just hanging around because Charlie told me he'd need my help but now he doesn't. So I'm pretty darn bored. Yeah.

Well, I've finally gotten around to posting this picture. This is Keir and I at Snowqualmie in January, when he visited. Dang he is a handsome-looking dude. Posted by Hello

Project PATCH and the return of Fillmore

Well, today was exciting. I woke up at like...wahtever, then tried to do work until Charlie came home at 10:30-ish, to no avail. I finally finished my Economy chapter for my CHina book, and thus am only 2 sections behind my schedule!!! YAY!
I mowed the lawn of a nice lady who gives me 20 dollars. Then I went home again, and noticed a certains screenname....

AQUAZAFIOUS!!

for those of you who don't know, it reminds me of Rayquaza, which is in no way at all related to the fact that it's

PRESTON'S SCREENNAME!!

So I call Zach, because Preston isn't responding, and Preston is always over there or vice versa. So finally I go over there. You see, the plan was to go to Deseret Industries to buy stuff and hang out...but I couldn't tell my mom....

D:"Hey, sorry for taking a long time to walk, guys. I didn't want my mom to know about it. You guys know my mom, right-"
P: "We know."
Z: "We know."
D: "Yeah, so it would have been bad if I had told her that I was going to hang out at Deseret Industries....with Preston..."
P: "We know."
Z: "We know."
D: "It would have been like....like..."
P: "Alien vs Predator?"
D: "Alien vs Predator in HELL. With nuclear bombs going off in the distance."

So we went there, and had a great time. I came away with and awesom tie, a dragon planner, and a $1 scanner. Yes, a one dollar scanner. Sweet! We had to walk home in the rain, but Mrs. Fosmore had sweet, sweet brownies. The hour of 4:50 was muchos gracias (and I mean it this time). MMMMMMmmm...so we ran to the attic to get the G.I. Joes, and set up the base. I outfitted the plane for ULTIMATE COMBAT!! But then we listened to music instead. Unfortunately, my parents came to take me away to Super China Buffet, where I had a nice [huge] meal of stuff. MMMMMmmm... then we went home and I stretched. Then I played Starcraft. Jack Lee and I schooled with TERRAN POWER!! w00t!

and now I retire. Goodnight, y'all.
