Weekend
CID: Seward and the purchase of Alaska. Historical Significance: This got us the territory of Alaska, which we can use to crush Canada in a mighty pincer attack.
This weekend has been neither bad nor especially good. We tried to figure out how to play Baldur's Gate for like 3 hours on Friday, but it didn't work. Then Charlie said we were going to Northgate for dinner. Northgate means Best Buy and Gamestop! Best Buy has a shitty game selection (almost worse than Fred Meyer!) But I headed to GS and picked up Scurge:Hive, Viewtiful Joe, and Resident Evil Zero. 24 bucks for 3 high-quality games ain't bad. Yesterday, we recorded our submissions to the Essentially Ellington concert down at Studio X, the place that is owned by Kirsten's dad. It was...well I don't want to say anything bad about anybody, especially not a certain authority figure. Today I plan on playing Scurge all day. I beat Final Fantasy II on Saturday.
Also here is my finger.

Also here are funny quotes.

NEW YORK
Well, since nobody around here likes big fatty posts, I shall say that New York was fun. Hanging out after dark, staying up late, attending concerts at the convention, and playing...pretty fun. We played in the biggest room in the Hilton Hotel...for an audience of perhaps 60 people. ECKS DEE! But it was a fun trip and we all had a good time. Now the pressure is on, because we have to record for the Ellington contest by next Sunday, and much learning of parts has to be done. We played with George Cables last night at Shorecrest, and then I got a ride with Chris over to Val and Jenni's birthday party. It was very fun. Daniel Fuerte was there, and he said that I have the best dance moves ever. Well, I wouldn't want to brag.
Today I went to a cool punk record store with Zach. We took the bus downtown and then checked it out. I bought a reggae album. It's so awesome. Afterwards we played Gears of War, but not for long, since I had to be home for when we did our jazz sectional. Surprise! No one showed up except Jomie, and we went to his house and listened to our concert and worked out some stuff. Now I shall eat dinner, do French homework, practice the piano, and play (and perhaps even beat) Final Fantasy 2.

teh_schoolzorx
School hath once again started. Mr. Harshman became the very mad in jazz band, and also in Winde Ensemble when I told him that my teeth removal sites hurt when I try to blow on the clarinet. But, alack, what am I to do?
In other news, the big band dance is happening on Friday, even though I know none of you guys even care. And Gears of War must be played sometime when we are all together. That or perhaps another game such as Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.
We leave for New York on the tenth. Keir arrives on like the thirteenth. You guys had better be good to him.
