Social Studies today. We went over 2 sections, and I forgot to bring my book home for the homework. Crap.
I got to read a lot during Enrichment, and then we went to practice the awards ceremony, which I didn't go to.
We watched the movie version of "Flowers for Algernon" in English today. It was good.
Then in French, I think Ms. Myers got really ticked at me. Buuuuut I can't remember why.
At 6:20, CHarlie, Jacob, and I went to Jack's Eagle ceremony. For those of you who don't know what they are, it' a bunch of people jabbering about how great the Eagle recipient is. It takes a couple of hours, but there's food at the end. Good food. But I had to call the colorguard. It was kinda weird.
I will sleep now.

As you can probably see, I was going to blog about Sunday but didn't. Here you are.
We ("we being me, Jack, and Wilfred) went on a bike ride with Orion. It was supposed to be 35 or 40 miles, buuuuuut Orion (the idiot) took a wrong turn at a VERY major intersection. After we had gone about 5 miles uphill, (during which he slowed down before a hill) Wilfred thought he had noticed a sign saying the town was the other direction. I'm not gonna post the dialogue that followed. It did turn out okay, however. We hung out at this cool pizza place and ate (you guessed it) pizza. Then we rode and finally went home, and it was good to not have to hear Jack bitch (erm....rant?) about how he was going to be late to see Harry Potter.
Monday was school. No surprise there.
Tuesday was school. *gasp*
Today we dissected frogs in Science. If you wanna know, ask me. It smelled terrible. We started practicing for the conducting contest in Band. It was fun and funny. Math was just work.
During lunch, Orion and I went to the library to look up strange mythological-sounding things from Fire Emblem. We learned much. Ask us.
Health was great. We have this really lax new teacher, who happens to be an old guy. And he doesn't care if I read when he talks.
After school I learned things aobut crosscountry, and then I went home and finished The Thief. It was good.
After dinner, I went up to Einstein to run around the track. It was dumb. I ate too much. Now I need to practice the piano.

Saturday: I woke up at 6, played Fire Emblem, and did some work for Charlie. Then Rosa called to see if I could go to see Harry Potter. This was a difficult decision, because it meant blowing off mowing lawns with Jacob to see a movie with Rosa. Needless to say, I went. Maddy's mom picked me up at 12, and I later realized that we were going to see the 1: 30 show. So we decided to go eat at Canyon's, but we went in the bar entrance. Once we saw all the bottles and glasses, we realized we were in the wrong place. Then we couldn't find the regular entrance. So we decided to hang out at CompUSA, where I found a demo copy of Zero Mission to play. After playing for 10 minutes or so, Katie called Maddy FROM ACROSS THE STREET to say that she was at the theater. Then we decided to go make fun of (erm, talk?) to Katie. And finally the movie started. So, that was cool.
I got home around 4:30, and Jacob and I mowed 2 lawns. Then I went to his house to go to this party thing. So we played gameboy and avoided his sister and her VERY screwed up friend who was high the whole time. After dinner, we went in Jacob's room and drank Crystal Light. It was in a really shitty pitcher that made me spill it all over Jacob's carpet. And I spilled some on his bed. And on him. Needless to say, I came home covered in peach iced tea. We were high.

Huzzah! School was glorifyingly short. Science, boring. We finished Glory in Social Studies. Great ending: their commander ides, and they all run into the fort and stand there staring. Then they all die in a huge puff of gunsmoke. We had a fire drill in band, and for the rest of the time we watched bits of Shrek. I finally finished all my letters and stuff in English. Math was cool. Kenny is moving, so we had ice cream and went outside in French. Health was okay, I guess. We did busywork on STDs. After school, I went to the track awards, where I was presented with the "Most Improved" award. I went from a 5:57 to a 5:12. This makes me feel good. After school, I went to piano lessons. Right now, I'm kinda hyper because I just watched Matthew rip through about 30 guys.

Thursday. One heck of a day.
Today I walked to school with Jacob, and what did we see but a hooker/crack dealer gettin cuffed. As soon as I saw those cruisers I knew it was gonna be a good day. Science was actually okay for once, and in Social Studies we watched more of Glory, which is a really awesome movie (for most people). In band, we played more awesome songs. English was fine, except Ms. Heller caught me encrypting files and got pissed (no wonder it's "Ms." and not "Mrs.") oohh that was mean). We has a test in Math, and I think I did okay, great actualy, but we know how that goes. French was fine, I got to write this story about a kangaroo. Yeah. Health was lots of talking about "stuff." Lemme just say I'm never going to think about petting my dog the same way again.I left at 2:45 for the District Finals. I ran okay. I got 7th in the 1600 and 9th in the 800. I tried.
After all this, Charlie and I grabbed burgers at Burger King and headed home, where I showered and managed to get Hector killed (again!!). Then it was off to the band concert, where I talked quietly (loudly) with Orion during the whole thing. And it was a great concert. We got up there and kicked some ASS!![excusin the langage, marm]. Then I hung out at Baskin Robbins with Alex, where we played slap rock, paper, scissors. Then I came homne to stay up late and hopefully wear off osme of the caffeine and sugar I ingested today. I'm so not getting to sleep tonight. But I gotta try.
Man, this was one heck of a day.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that today was the last track practice. It did actually happen, despite some confusion (sorry Rosa!) We did some strides, and then we laid down to bask in the sun. MMmmmm....sun.
So now there's only tomorrow.
Tomorrow, I was thinking, you know, I oughta try to at least tie with Danny. But, I decided to run my own race, as seen in the conversation posted below.
"You're not gonna beat Danny McCoy, Davis. You don't wanna beat him."
"Then who do I want to beat?"
"The guy from Kellogg, Davis. You wanna beat the guy from Kellogg."
-Charlie
Yeah. I think I'm getting a bit worked up about all this. Whatever happens, happens. And I'm not gonna look at that guy's shoes.

WHoa. It's been a while, hasn't it? Lemme start from the top (remember, i have VERY SELECTIVE memory).
Wednesday: Umm, I get the feeling that something importatn happened Wednesday, but I can't remember. Dang (see above).
Thursday: Track meet against Kellogg. I got third in the 1600 and third in the 800. That one Kellogg mile runner....big, muscular shoulders.....and the shoes....curse the shoes....Yellow with black and they were spikes....I looked at them the whole race.
Friday: School. Piano lesson. I'm doing okay. I relaxed.....NO I didn't! I packed for the hike!
Saturday: got up at 7....okay 6:20 to go on the hike. It was a long car ride with Jacob (you KNOW what I mean) ha ha! just kidding Jacob!) not really). So then we got there, and Reid, Maxwell, David Cook, Jacob, and me had to stand in a parking lot for 45 minutes while Red and Charlie got "the cars dropped off" or something like that. After all that we started hiking, and we had to cross all these streams and it was really cool.
Then we got to where we were going, but it was raining the whole time and there was snow there. So we set up camp and went to sleep.
When we woke up, it was really cold and we packed up and left. We decided to hike without packs to see if we could continue on our route, but it was blocked with snow. So we hiked back 5 of the 8 miles and camped there. Then we slept and hike back. We got the $6.75 all you can eat breakfast special at this semi-seedy restauraunt(sp). Some funny things not in order:
Reid said a great thing. See my info, or:
"High school is like middle school, except the classes are harder and everyone is ten times more horny."
-Reid Mortimer
Jacob asked why his number was on the "emergency number" blank on the permission slip. Charlie say, "I didn't know what else to put." I'm like, "how about 911!?"
Jacob and I were boiling unfiltered water for our dinner, and as soon as it was boiling we poured it in the macaroni bag. Then red says it should be boiling for at least 5minutes before you drink it. Jacob an d I become stupefied (everyone but David has Giardia).
The rest of Monday I was bored.
and yeah.
Tuesday: TRACK PRELIMINARIES! I WAS REALLY NERVOUS!
*and then I ran a 5:12 mile (2nd place) and a 2:25 800 (3rd place) Su weet!
today: Science test and Social Studies test. I did good! we started watching Glory in SS. English was okay, I started my intro letter and got the stuff I want in my portfolio. Math test tomorrow, I'm feeling good about it. Health was weird. MUCH sexuality.
A Math test, Band concert, and Track Finals happen tomorrow.
"...Here we go!"
