Contrary to popular belief, shopvacs can also be used to clean various kitchen appliances, such as microwaves, coffee pots, tables, and stepladders (foreground). Posted by Picasa

With the Knowledge of the Magi...

Everywhere I look I see exclusive huddled uninviting
Shelter is a privilege of the sane and competent

Kerosene keeps me warm
I'm alone to watch it burn
Kerosene!

Exposure is a pitiful and pointless way of dying
Before it gets me I'll build a fune'ral pyre!

Kerosene keeps me warm
I'm alone to watch it burn
Kerosene!

I'm a man and my dignity won't wave
Tonight buildings rage!

Kerosene keeps me warm
Feels so good to watch it burn
Kerosene!

Kerosene keeps me warm
I'm alone to watch it burn
Kerosene!

Kerosene keeps me warm
Feels so good to watch it burn
Kerosene
!!!

It's been quite a while. I realize that most of my posts start out with that, but oh, what can you do? Except bitch and moan?
So, here we go. Spring Break:

Saturday: Freaking big day. Track from 9-11, then physical therapy from 12-1. I mowed some lawns and did a bunch of other really tiring work, but I can't really remember. Most of the afternoon was spent packing for our Whidbey Island trip.

Sunday: Quick packing after getting up, and then we [I] started driving to Mutiny Bay, Whidbey Island. We stopped at the NEX (Nave Exchange) on the way, where I picked up Recipe for Hate by Bad Religion. It's good stuff. Anyway, we continued on and finally arrived about 3 or so, and it was still wet, cold, and nasty, so we just hung out inside our cabin. We were all tired.

Monday: Charlie left at about 11; he wanted to get back home to work on the house. Meredith and I played on the beach for a while and built a really sweet fort. Seriously, this was a r0x0r fort, with a pit and a big ceiling and multiple flags and a protective sand wall. Awesome.

Tuesday: We went into town. I don't remember what it is called, but it's pretty close to Mutiny Bay. We had lunch and checked out a bunch of shops, including our favorite thrift shop. I picked up a sweet jacket and a HALO book, just for laughs.

Wednesday: We began packing up and left around 11. We must have hung around in another town or something...yeah, we did, though I don't remember much of it. Wait, I do. Nevermind. We returned to the same town, I think, and that was when we checked out the thrift shop. Or something. Anyway, we got home about 3:30. That night, I beat Riviera: The Promised Land. It's a totally weird RPG with...well, it has button-input sequences and...I can't explain it, but it's cool.

Thursday: Hung at home, and probably helped Charlie put pieces of the kitchen into the dumpster out front. More work and video games.

Friday: Hmm...same 'ol, same 'ol. Mandatory help for Charlie and games and stuff. Now that I think about it, I didn't hang out with anyone over break. Ah well.

Saturday and Sunday: WORK AND VIDEO GAMES!! GAH!! Also, tearing out multiple parts of the house, including the deck.

Monday: School. Short day, thank goodness. I had Boy Scouts, and that sucked, but I got out early.

Tuesday: First day of new WASL. It was actually kind of interesting, since it was the math. I liked it. And did I say interesting? Not interesting, but kind of entertaining. And we all skipped PYA.

Wednesday: More math WASL. Yayr.

Today (Thursday, for those of you who don't yet know the days of the week): Started the science WASL. 'S not that great. I really suck at designing experiments. A lot. Lessee...we got out of French at 2:00 for a home track meet, at Shoreline Stadium. The bus was at 2:35. Oh well. The meet went well, I guess. I had to measure the discus with Jacob and Helen, which was ridiculously boring feet-hurting-y.

So keep it up, everyone. Clan website will get better, and yeah. I feel the need to put a positive statement here but I can't think of one. Oh, and I'm into the National Honors Society. Woohoo!

Hey you
Is there something worth aspiring to
And can it be found in a record store
Well it's not there anymore
Just think of all the things we did
We were different
Just like all the other kids

Missy was a teen blue video star
Tom took his life in his mother's car
Milo went to college but you knew about that
Rodney played our record
GG started riots
Laurie was always quiet
She was battling depression

Hey you
Is there something worth belonging to
And can I pick it up for a song
Or a diploma or a worthy cause
Well let me tell you that there's nothing wrong
It's just that ones like us will never belong

Jack wore a skirt but he knew how to scrap
Billy went to county on a class one possession
Wendy went to school while her daddy shot smack
Eugene kept a list
Mugger was security
Mary she kept her purity
We were all in it together

Yellowed postcards on the wall
Serve to cover up a blankness after all
So I will carry them along
Like a song when I'm gone yeah

Hey you
Is there something worth belonging to
You know we've been here all along
Like a confederacy of the wrong
And I confess it could be prejudice
But to you I dedicate this song
Yeah to you

SHADOWS ENTERTAINT THE UNWASHED MASSES
SCHOLARS EXPLAIN THEIR NUMB REACTIONS
I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF I WILL EVER FIND TRUTH
BUT I'M SURE IT WON'T COME FROM FOLLOWING YOU!

We're gonna be at Whidbey Island from Sunday to Wednesday. Prepare, Teriyaki warriors. When I return, I shall be ready to PWN!

En Taro Adun.

Know thy enemy

bananaoracle89 (7:35:14 PM): but I know he's going to pull something
bananaoracle89 (7:35:36 PM): like a Protoss player with Robotics Core, Stargate, and Templar Archives
bananaoracle89 (7:35:41 PM): what the hell is he going for?
